Yarly Cabello is a New York native who moved to Miami, FL when she was sixteen. After graduating high school, Yarly attended St. Thomas University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. Yarly’s goal and passion was always to advocate for others with her legal skills.

In 2016, Yarly began her journey at the Shepard Broad College of Law of Nova Southeastern University. Since the beginning of law school, Yarly has committed her focus to trial advocacy skills. During her tenure at the Shepard Broad College of Law, Yarly participated in multiple mock trial competitions, served as Vice President of the NSU Trial Association, and before graduating, participated in several jury trials.

After passing the Florida Bar, Yarly had the honor of working for the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. During her time with the Public Defender, Yarly gained motion practice experience, selected juries for trial, and successfully defended her clients in many trials, maintaining a winning record successfully advocating for her clients.

Yarly’s fight for justice continues in another area of the law, as her focus is now advocating for homeowners and companies against insurance companies. At The Mineo Law Firm, she uses her litigation and advocacy skills to ensure her clients obtain the benefits they deserve without fear of insurance companies.
