Kristin Marrero


Kristin Marrero has been with The Mineo Salcedo Law Firm since 2017. She is an experienced litigator that has been trying jury trials since 2014, and has been an attorney of record in over twenty civil and criminal jury trials. She began her legal career after graduating with honors from both St. Vincent College and Ave Maria School of Law (AMSL). After becoming licensed in Florida, Ms. Marrero served as an Assistant Public Defender for the 20th Judicial Circuit. Based on the results of her trial work as a criminal defense attorney, she was awarded a Premier 100 Trial Attorney designation from the National Academy of Jurisprudence. She was also given a Justice Foundation Scholarship from the DUI Defense Lawyers Association for her handling of DUI cases. Following her time with the Public Defender’s Office, Ms. Marrero worked as an Associate Litigation Attorney with Walton Lantaff Schroeder and Carson, LLP in Miami, Florida. At Walton Lantaff, her areas of practice primarily included civil defense – specifically, first and third party insurance coverage and liability defense, personal injury, and construction litigation. From the beginning, Ms. Marrero has been a zealous advocate for her clients and passionate about helping people in their time of need.
