Nathan Teplitsky

Nathan Teplitsky was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. From a young age, Nathan possessed a unique entrepreneurial spirit and drive, whether he was offering recycling services door to door or selling cellular telephones as a freshman in high school.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona, where he majored in Political Science and minored in Spanish. Aside from his educational endeavors, Nathan was a full time employee at Whole Foods, and quickly earned a reputation for his customer service, attention to detail, and personable character. In his final year at the University of Arizona, Nathan spent a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain and traveled across the European Union. The eclectic experience played a fundamental role in Nathan’s maturation in young adulthood. Upon returning from his semester abroad, Nathan had the unique opportunity to work as a congressional intern for Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, where he was provided with an exclusive view into the governmental process. As an intern, Nathan participated first hand in a variety of dedicated efforts and events focused on providing a platform and medium for constituents and Congresswoman Giffords to connect on a very personal and individual level.

After moving across the country in pursuit of a legal education, Nathan received his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas Law School in May 2012, and graduated Cum Laude in the top 20% of his class. During his 3 year tenure at St. Thomas, Nathan booked Property I, worked as a research assistant for his Criminal Procedure professor, and earned Dean’s List honors multiple semesters. Nathan was also accepted onto the St. Thomas Law Review, where he actively participated, and mentored prospective applicants. As he had previously done during his undergraduate studies, Nathan again had the privilege of studying abroad during Law School, this time in El Escorial, Spain. Concurrent with his legal studies during his latter semesters, Nathan clerked with Criminal Defense attorney Mario Corcilli at the Law Offices of David Edelstein. As a clerk, he honed his legal research and writing skills, drafted a variety of pleadings and legal memoranda, and attended several criminal proceedings and observed direct interaction with clients.

Following his admission into the Florida Bar in 2013, Nathan immediately became an integral and valuable associate attorney at Rudd & Diamond, P.A., practicing insurance defense for various insurance carriers including Avatar Property & Casualty Insurance Company, Bankers Insurance Group and its subsidiaries First Community Insurance Company and Nova Casualty Insurance Company, and Canal Insurance Company. While at Rudd & Diamond, P.A., Nathan’s practice was primarily focused on defending 1st and 3rd party property insurance claims, however he also defended bodily injury claims as well. He quickly earned the respect and confidence of the managing partners and developed a rapport with clients and opposing counsels. Aside from managing a robust caseload and spearheading each case’s unique defense strategy, Nathan attended numerous hearings including Motions to Dismiss, Motions to Compel, Motions for Sanctions, and Motions for Leave to Amend. Nathan also conducted Examinations Under Oath and Depositions of countless insureds, plumbers, water restoration professionals, public adjusters, police officers, emergency medical staff, while also defending depositions of defense experts. Nathan’s practice at Rudd & Diamond, P.A. afforded him invaluable experience, and played a vital role in laying the foundation for his eventual transition to representing and advocating for Plaintiff’s at The Mineo Salcedo Law Firm, P.A.
