Jorgen Slots is originally from Southern California. He grew up in Orange County and completed his undergraduate education at the University of San Diego. Mr. Slots decided to make the move South Florida and attended St. Thomas University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015, and since that time has practiced in the areas of insurance defense, with emphasis on homeowners’ first and third party property insurance claims.
Before joining The Mineo Salcedo Law Firm, P.A., Mr. Slots has extensive experience in pre-suit investigations, taking examinations under oath and providing coverage evaluations of homeowners insurance claims. He also had performed all aspects of civil litigation including handling cases from inception to through trial in first and third party property insurance cases, specifically drafted and argued numerous motions that included Motions to Dismiss, Motions to Compel, Motions for Sanctions, Motion for Leave to Amend, Motion for Partial Summary Judgment and Motion to Continue Trial. Mr. Slots also conducted numerous depositions of insureds, public adjusters, water restoration professionals, plumbers, and resolved matters involving multiple parties and complex issues. Mr. Slots joined The Mineo Salcedo Law Firm, P.A. in the Fall of 2016.
Jorgen focuses his practice in the areas of homeowners’ first party property insurance litigation and general civil litigation.
